Why would we ever create something so heinous as the world’s stinkiest sock?
Well to challenge people, obviously.
To showcase the benefits of Lysol Laundry Sanitizer, Lysol scientists worked tirelessly to create the World’s Stinkiest Sock and challenged fans at the Boston Red Sox game to see if they can stomach it and also smell the benefits of their laundry additive.
We created an experience for fans up to the challenge and captured that same experience for them, in slow motion, as they retched, gasped, and wheezed at the World’s Stinkiest Sock before finding relief after smelling with the sock washed with Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. And then we challenged influencers with a custom-designed box mailed to their residence, that thankfully never had to go through customs, to have them take the challenge.
